A Review of Recommended Products

The product I am recommending is a book by Bailey Richert called "50 International Travel Preparation Tips". This book is available HERE! This is a short book, around 22 pages, which is about travel tips that are recommended for international traveling. It is suggested for US citizens for traveling abroad, which is where many of the top destinations are. It includes several travel hacks that will keep you safe, save you money and help avoid frustrating situations while traveling that a lot of people usually encounter. It is printed in English, because it is mainly for the use of US citizens, as mentioned earlier. I would strongly recommend this book, not only for the tips, but because it is free for any Kindle users. What a great opportunity for anyone that has a Kindle. What could be better than a free, educational book on something that you are going to gain so many memories from?!
For anyone that has never traveled before, this is a great beginner book. But for those of you who have traveled, it includes several tips that you may have not known before. It might mention a situation in which you have never encountered, therefore would not know what to do. This book is an excellent read for someone who does not have much time to do their research on the internet for a million tips. It wraps up all of the main suggestions for someone looking to travel, which is what all of you are at least interested in if you are taking a look at my blog.

The next product I recommend is mainly for women. This product is an over the shoulder purse, or bag. They are available at plenty of stores but an example of one is shown here. This is a great example because it is small enough to not weigh you down, but large enough to fit your essentials, plus room for other items you may prefer. You can purchase these anywhere, but this specific one is from Target and is only about $30.00. These are important because they have a zipper so nobody can reach in and take something out of your purse while you are walking around. You should always carry these across your body and have them in the front of you because people could walk up and slit the bottom of them and all of you items, including your money, I.d., passport, credit cards, etc. could fall right out and you may never know. These are better than a large purse that just goes on your shoulder because they are where your hands can reach and they are small enough for you to control. Too large of purses are easy targets for people trying to steal from you. If you do not want to look like a tourist, I would always keep an eye on your purse or bag and do not walk around with your phone. This causes you to be unaware of your surroundings which makes it easier for someone around you go come up and steal from you, or even take your entire purse or bag right out of your hand. Most of the across body purses or bags have adjustable straps so that they are universal for any height. For men, there are bags that are handy, as well. Any drawstring backpack, such as this one, are available all over the internet for cheap prices. they are easy to carry and they have enough room that you will need. These are lightweight polyester and durable for what you might be carrying on your back.

The next product I would recommend for travel use, is actually more of a service. It is accessible through the app store on iPhones and is even free to use. It is called UrbanSpoon. It is an app for restaurants and places to eat. You can search the top rated restaurants in the area that you are located in based off your location. I am sure other systems, such as androids or windows phones, can access this app too, but based off of my experience I use the iPhone. Not only does it list restaurants around you, but it tells you what type of food they offer, how pricy it is, and even lists the menu sometimes. This is a great app for an area you are unfamiliar with. Everyone knows that good restaurants in their hometown, but what if you have never been there before. The first place to look is UrbanSpoon, in my opinion. You can even advance your search. You can list exactly what you are looking for and they will try to match that or give you suggestions to places similar to the one you are looking for. For example, you can state whether you are looking for American or Chinese food, that you prefer it not be too expensive, and that you want it within 10 miles of your current location. Technology is incredible these days. There are plenty of apps that will help you while traveling. But for food specifically, I think this one is the best because it offers a variety of suggestions, as well as comments from customers that have actually been there. In the comments, customers describe the taste and quality of the food, quality of the service, atmosphere of the restaurant, location of the restaurant, and comparison of food prices to quality.

These are just a few recommendations of products to use while traveling. There are many more that I could list, but that is the fun of traveling, as well. You get to choose what works best for you and what does not. As you begin to travel a lot you will find this out. So for you beginners, enjoy your journey and do not forget to write down all of the products or services you use. This will make it easier so that you can remember for next time, whether you want to try the same services or products again, or stay away from them.
